- Citrus and blooming lilacs aroma
- Very elegant with subtle spices
The Greisdorf location has a southwest exposure, making it a warmer growing area. The forest bordering the vineyard keeps the area cool at night. The properties of the soil give the wines a very individual, strongly spicy note.
In the multi-layered aroma, first the cool, subtle citrus flavors come to the forefront, with airy and slightly smoky mineral elements. After some time in the glass the Schilcher is reminiscent of blooming lilacs. Very elegant on the palate, exciting length of fine flavor.
For dishes with chanterelle mushrooms or beef.
