Tement Winery Sauvignon Blanc- Styrian Classic Gutswein
- Fruity aromas
- Light, easy to digest acidity
- Perfect with fish and vegetables
About 60% of the Tement vineyards are planted with the Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The best known Tement wines are produced by these great "classics".
The philosophy of Tement family is revealed by the first impressions of their wine. One can smell the grapes without a trace of artificial flavors or exotic fruits. Quite the opposite, you can smell the spices and timeless elegance. First, the wine has vegetable notes with lots of celery root and wild asparagus, then suddenly dives into fruit aromas reminiscent of pears. The crisp acidity is hearty but still very digestible. The wine feels exciting, spicy, refreshing and serious.
The wine is still very young and will continue to develop beautifully with bottle age. It is a lot of fun as a soloist but also accompanies vegetable and fine fish dishes impressively.
