Apricots from Wachau (POD)

Wachau is located on the southern edge of the Waldviertel region and is bordered to the north by the Dunkelsteinerwald forest. The apricot is cultivated in the areas adjacent to the Danube. The local climate is especially known for producing fine flavor and aroma in its apricots. Apricot jam, nectar, spirits and desserts are also produced from these apricots. Strictly quality apricots from the region are used. The preparation of these products is carried out according to old, traditional recipes.
