Scarlet Runner Beans from Southeast Styria

​​Southeastern Styria is a thermal, volcanic region where the influence of the Mediterranean "Illyrian climate" influences the flavor of not only the wine, but also the Styrian scarlet runner bean. Almost 90% of the Austrian runner beans are produced in southeastern Styria, with an average of about 250 tons produced per year.
