High Quality Oils for High Quality Flavor

Fat is THE best flavor carrier, therefore, oils add a variety of unique flavors to food. They are responsible for many wonderful flavors. In our shop, we carry a wide range of high-quality oils, here you can learn more about them.

Hemp oil

This oil is considered to be high-quality vegetable oil because it contains all the essential fatty acids for humans. Because of its nutty taste, hemp oil is mainly used for salads, dressings, sauces and marinades, as well as for spreads.

Grapeseed oil

This oil is extracted from the seeds of grapes. It can be heated to a high temperature and can therefore be used for frying but it is usually used cold to flavor sauces, salads etc. You can taste the grape flavor in this cold-pressed oil. Additionally, it contains a lot of antioxidants.

Gray poppy seed oil

Gray poppy seed oil is usually extracted by cold pressing poppy seeds. In Austria, this oil is mainly produced in the Waldviertel, where poppy cultivation has a long tradition. The subtle flavor of the poppy oil gives many cold dishes a particularly unique note.

Sunflower oil

The mild flavor of sunflower oil is appreciated by many people. Given that oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, it is therefore very healthy. It is very versatile in the kitchen, but is mainly used in uncooked dishes, salads, dressings and sauces.

Rapeseed oil

Originally, rapeseed oil was used for industrial purposes because it was very bitter. However, targeted breeding has reduced the bitter substances of the oil. Today canola oil is a very healthy oil which is mainly used for cold food due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids.

Pumpkin seed oil

This oil is the Styrian favorite for salads. It has an intense, dark color and is used in many ways in the kitchen. Soups, appetizers, main dishes and desserts are refined with this high-quality oil. Find out more information about pumpkin seed oil here.
