The Kletzen (dried pears) are gently made from ripe fruit. They have a very typical, harmonious flavor that is tart, sweet, and slightly acidic.

The snow pear has a particularly high polyphenol and fiber content. The latter is about five times higher than in regular pears. Since the majority of the fiber consists of the so-called soluble fiber, the pear is easy to digest and is healthy for the intestines. Furthermore, this pear contains a significant amounts of calcium and magnesium.
