Harkamp Winery Sauvignon Blanc Extra Brut
Lets the champagne dance inside your mouth
- Dry & tingly
- For fruity desserts or aperitifs
- Unbelievably playful
For the first time, Hannes Harkamp presents its latest very dry and finely sparkling creation from the Sauvignon Blanc grape for absolute top flavor!
The grapes for this incredibly fine sparkling wine are grown on sandy, well drained soils of Flamberge in southern Styria. The cool winds of Koralpe mountains shape the area in a unique way and add a spicy taste and a lot of freshness to the wine.
The base wine for this sparkling treat was harvested specifically for the for sparkling wine and the whole bunch was pressed. This fresh base wine sets the mood for the final score. Afterward the wine is bottled and matures for one year with yeast, before it is disgorged and sealed with a cork.
First you smell wild herbs, daisies and freshly cut grass, thereafter, notes of citrus, peach and aromatic cassis develop. The Sauvignon Blanc is elegant and highly refined in every phase. It's hard to stop drinking this delicious treat as the fine bubbles underline the delicate characteristics to accompany rather than dominate. On the palate the wine is bone dry, playful and incredibly fun.
For fruity desserts as well as aperitifs and for romantic moments on the terrace.
