When the grapes begin to ripen in southern Styria, the winegrowers celebrate St. James' Day. St. James is the patron saint of the weather and also the namesake of this fresh and fruity white wine.
The Farmer's Almanac was the inspiration for the label of this wine. You'll see statements from the entire year.
This Sauvignon Blanc is the most tender and freshest that the Gross Family produces. The vineyard is located not far from the southern Styrian Wine Road.
In the glass, the wine brings back memories of childhood - of going barefoot on dewy grass, fragrant peaches and crisp green apples straight from the tree. The wine is refreshing and soothing, slightly spicy and refreshing. One finds flavors reminiscent of green pepper and elderflower.
These lighter alcohol content and freshness make this wine Ideal for enjoying on the summer terrace or with all sorts of appetizers.
